Tula guided us through the Manaslu circuit. He is a very organised guide who knows what he is doing and is in control of any situation. He has a lot of experience with guiding different people of different skill levels. He is also very fun to hang out with, has a lot of jokes, and shares a lot of insights about the mountains and Nepal. He is a great guide to be with in the mountains!

Tula is a great guide for the Manaslu circuit. He guided my partner and I this April 2025. He was very experienced and had a lot of close connections throughout the circuit that helped us get the best in terms of accommodations and transport. He’s very organized but adaptable. Speaks English quite well and is generally a nice friendly guy to talk to and be with throught the hike. His itinerary is also well thought out, and seems to be honed over his years of experience guiding people in Manaslu. Would definitely recommend.

I recommend Tula as a guide. In November 2023, with our 6-person group, he completed the Manaslu Circuit enriched with Manaslu Base Camp, Tibetan Border and Pungyen Gumpa. Everything took place in accordance with previous arrangements, both in terms of the planned route and financial settlements. He is not the type of guide who follows you step by step and talks non-stop, but when asked, he provides comprehensive information - we liked it very much. It is also important that Tula comes from the Manaslu region and we had the distinct impression that he knows every second local we pass - this can be very useful in case of any problems. Finally, on his own initiative, he shared with us information about the Annapurna Circuit, which we were going to alone. Tula was definitely a good choice.

I highly recommend Tula as a guide for any trekking adventure in Nepal! Our group completed the Annapurna Circuit, and it was truly one of the best experiences I’ve had. Tula is incredibly knowledgeable about the region and provided clear guidance on what to expect and how to prepare, ensuring we were well-prepared. His excellent communication, organization of accommodations, and transportation made the journey stress-free and seamless, especially with our limited timeframe. He was incredibly fun to have around and provided many laughs, but also gave our group a lot of privacy to relax and enjoy the trip at our own pace. We ended our trip in Thamel and made sure to enjoy a few pints of Barahsinghe on tap (which by the way is excellent) at his local establishment. I would definitely plan to do another adventure with him!

We did an almost 2-week trek with Tula on the Manaslu Circuit in March/April of 2024. Tula first met us at our hotel in Kathmadu to do a gear check, and then took us into Thamel to get a few last minute items. The next day, he picked us in a private jeep he had organized. Over the next 2 weeks, he and our porter, Tara, led us along on our journey, even taking us to some villages off the main trail. Tula is incredibly knowledgeable about the mountains, the locals, the terrain, and how to be safe. He is definitely someone you would want leading -- especially in the snowy, dark, early morning hours of the day of the pass! He also always booked solid tea-houses, and was there to help with any questions regarding our accommodations or food. We often then played Dhumbal (a Nepalese card game) together after we ate. One point to note, though, is that he is somewhat of a fast hiker, and at times we wished he would go a bit slower, even after communicating that with him. But overall, the trip was amazing. We both have fantastic memories of Nepal and the mountains, and we're already looking forward to being back there at some point in our lives!

I went trekking to Mardi Himal guided by Tula and everything was fantastic! Tula is a really good guide, who knows very well the land, but also its foods and people. The trekking to poon Hill Ghorepani has been fantastic. Even though It was raining I could enjoy the trekking and my guide Tula has been really friendly and helpful all through the time. We left together by bus from Katmandu to Pokhara and we spent a night in Pokhara and then we set off to trekking. I would really recommended this guide and enjoy the wonderful landscape!

Tula Is such a good guy and perfect guide. Trekking with him has been wonderful: he knows the mountains and guided us through the monsoon pitfalls always knowing best path, understanding the wheather and the soil: we have always felt safe! He knows perfectly how to move and where to stay in all villagees we passed by. And, maybe most important: he is easygoing, sincere and intelligent, you can speak and laugh with him for hours! I got to know Tula via a friend who recommended him to me. We had a lot of personal contact before I arrived in KTM for the AC trek. It was my first time in Nepal and the experience was great especially with Tula as my personal guide. Tula is very friendly, communicative and knowledgeable. What can I say about this man!! He is the friendliest and most knowledgeable guide I have ever had the privilege of knowing, I met him doing a mountain bike trip around the Annapurna circuit and it was the best time I have ever had in the 3 visits I have made to the Himalaya, there was nothing that was to much of a problem and every day was met with a smile an exciting adventure. We met as strangers but I left making a great friend.

I met Tula who took me for a mountain bike adventure in the hills surrounding Kathmandu. He picked a great route, took me for some amazing food and was great fun as a guide, and a very strong cyclist! I would highly recommend anyone to pick him to adventure with!

It is not easy to finde someone, who is trustworthy, reliable and in time when you are in nepal. But this man for sure has it all and more. I was very happy and lucky to have some off beaten tracks shown by him. We also visited his village and he looked after constantly. Had a great experience with Tula guiding me in the Manaslu region in 2020. First we went to his parental house. I was offered to borrow army shoes of his brothers (size 43), since mine were ruened in the bus ride towards the starting village of trek. So I was very thankful for being able to borrow a pair! . Unfortunately they were just half a size too small. Had to do as much as I could on my sneakers and therefore we had to go back after hiking in higher altitudes. I couldn't get to Larkya La on sneakers. Unfortunate but very true. Tula and me helped out some farmers on the way back. Had a great experience on the trek anyway! This region was very quit and absolutely beautiful from what I have seen. Tula knew his way around in this region and is a reliable guide and friend!! -Don't preserve trekking shoes in closet for more than a year (!) and expect nothing to happen to the materials.

I spent this year beginning of winter season with Tula on a Manaslu - Tsum Valley trek. Having only 11 days for this, Tula thoroughly checked my abilities upfront to judge whether we could manage this fast trekking. I appreciated this since it shows me his professionalism. Not only this, Tula is also very conscious about expectations of trekkers as well of the local people. He puts a lot of personal effort in contributing to enhance education in the mountain region of Manaslu where he is originating from. Tula is a very experienced and also knowledgeable and fun guide. I had a lot of great conversation with him on the trek. In the end, he adapted the trekking plan very well to weather conditions and terrain. I always felt very safe. I regret that I didn't meet Tula at the beginning of my trip to Nepal, I only could meet him by end of it. He is so knowledgeable, he knows each and everything about his culture & history, I learned a lot about Nepal from him .. more than what I learned during my whole trip, he was also so opened to know about my culture. He is also funny, you won't feel bored with him He is easy going & very open minded, feel free to discuss anything with him. Tula guided us on the Annapurna Circuit in October 2022. He picked us up in KTM, organized all the accommodations on the circuit and planned a beautiful route for us. Although we had to turn around due to bad weather we had a great time with a lot of laughs and interesting conversations. Tula has a lot of knowledge about the Nepal mountains it’s history, Nepals history and culture. Before we flew back home he also gave us a tour in KTM. I would highly recommend trekking in Nepal with Tula as a guide! We hiked the Manaslu circuit and had such a good time. I went on a trek with my dad to Annapurna Base Camp with Tula in 2018. The trip was great from start to finish. Tula was a laugh a minute and we had a great time chatting along the journey. He knows a lot about the mountains and the local culture and always managed to get our accomodation booked despite some other guides having issues. If i make it back to Nepal in the future I'll definitely be going with Tula again and would recommend anyone else to do the same, you won't regret it!
